Join us for a special evening dedicated to the legacy of Vasyl Stus, Ukrainian dissident, poet, and freedom fighter. The event will begin at 18:30 with a curatorial tour of the Stus exhibition. At 19:00, we will screen the film Yours Vasyl (Vash Vasyl), directed by Svitlana Rudiuk and Oleksandr Avsharov, which offers an artistic portrayal of Stus's life and his fight for freedom under Soviet repression.

The screening will be followed by a panel talk with the director and Vasyl Stus’s sister, Maria Stus, reflecting on the mythologization of the artist and how modern art interprets Stus today. We will also explore the recurring water imagery in documentary Yours Vasyl .

This event is part of the "Stus" exhibition's accompanying program. Don't miss this opportunity to dive deep into the life of one European poet from Ukraine.
