The aim of the research proposed by Dr. Chabier was to complement and organize the existing knowledge on the participation and role of Prof. Marian Morelowski in the process of restitution of Polish property from Germany, with particular emphasis on Polish regalia seized by the Prussian authorities, some of which, including the sword called "Sigismund", he discovered in 1923 in Berlin.
