“Perspectives on the 20th Century” is the title of a new series of articles by the Pilecki Institute Berlin. Relatively short pieces dedicated to the history of the 20th century meet with voices and perspectives from contemporary debates that reflect the current state of historical research.

Based on research projects that are currently underway, the articles published here, with their moderate length and absence of footnotes, are intended to create an open platform for a critical exchange of ideas.

We welcome text proposals from all scholars working with 20th century history, i.e. not only historians, but also sociologists, political scientists, legal historians, art historians, etc. The texts should be written in German or English and can be submitted to perspectives@pileckiinstitut.de.
