Geo-political security, how to build an approach up to date - Lidia Gibadło

Since July 2022, Lidia Gibadło has been research fellow at the Department for Germany and Northern Europe in the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW), where she assesses German foreign and European policies. Prior to that she worked for business intelligence area. From 2018 to 2021, she worked as a research fellow in the Weimar Triangle Program of the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), focusing on Germany’s home and foreign policies. Gibadło is a graduate of the Institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw. She participated in the Institute on Economics and International Affairs Program at the George Mason University, Washington D.C. She received scholarships from the German Centre for Academic Exchange (DAAD) and from the Rowny-Paderewski Scholarship. “The Nexus of Decision 2023: Germany, Poland, Ukraine” An interdisciplinary journey into the substance of Freedom, Peace and Security.

Three geopolitical regions representing different ways of thinking about Russia´s full scale invasion of Ukraine and the future of Europe. An interdisciplinary residency-academy program offering a series of lectures, workshops, and city/museum tours led by top scholars and practitioners from Ukraine, Germany, and Poland.
