Pariser Platz Seminar - Instytut Pileckiego
The aim of the Pariser Platz Seminars is to present diverse perspectives on the history of the 20th century. The main focus is placed on the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
The circumstances of the 20th century are not only broached, methodologically and paradigmatically, with the help of historical discourse, but also include interpretations of sociologists, political scientists and economists. Last but not least, the seminars aim to highlight the topicality and contemporary relevance of many historical issues. Through this series of debates, we look at collective historical memory and discuss how the events of the last century have shaped the present day.
