ERKLÄRUNG

Das Pilecki-Institut teilt mit, dass Hanna Radziejowska aus objektiven Gründen von ihrem Amt als Leiterin der Berliner Außenstelle des Pilecki-Instituts abberufen wurde. Grundlage für die Entlassung ist Art. 4b Abs. 3 des Gesetzes vom 9. November 2017 über das Witold-Pilecki-Institut für Solidarität und Tapferkeit in Verbindung mit den einschlägigen Bestimmungen der Geschäftsordnung der Berliner Zweigstelle des Pilecki-Instituts.

Die jüngsten Handlungen von Hanna Radziejowska haben das Vertrauen ihres Arbeitgebers schwer erschüttert. Die von ihr in den sozialen Medien und den traditionellen Medien präsentierten Überinterpretationen und Unterstellungen zu den vom Institut durchgeführten Projekten stellen eine Überschreitung der Normen und Beziehungen zwischen Arbeitnehmer und Arbeitgeber dar. Dies gilt insbesondere dann, wenn interne Korrespondenz oder Bedenken hinsichtlich der Tätigkeit des Instituts ohne vorherige interne Erörterung an Dritte weitergegeben werden.

Die Berliner Außenstelle des Pilecki-Instituts nimmt eine wichtige Funktion innerhalb der internationalen Struktur des Instituts ein. Zu ihren Aufgaben gehören die wissenschaftliche Forschung, die Dokumentation der Folgen des Totalitarismus im 20. Jahrhundert und die Erinnerung an dessen Opfer. Das Team der Außenstelle hat in den letzten Jahren eine Reihe wertvoller Aktivitäten durchgeführt, darunter die Zusammenarbeit mit ukrainischen Archivaren und die Förderung der polnischen Geschichte in Deutschland.

Die neue Person, die die Aufgaben des Leiters der Außenstelle in Berlin übernehmen wird, wird nächste Woche bei einem Treffen mit dem Team und in einer separaten Mitteilung an die Medien vorgestellt.

Die Außenstelle in Berlin setzt ihre Arbeit fort. Alle begonnenen Programme und Projekte, die im Einklang mit der Mission des Instituts stehen, werden fortgesetzt. Das Pilecki-Institut ist bestrebt, die Rolle der Berliner Außenstelle als Teil eines internationalen Netzwerks zu stärken, das die wissenschaftliche Forschung und das Gedenken an die Opfer des Totalitarismus des 20. Jahrhunderts fördert, unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Auswirkungen des deutschen Nationalsozialismus in Mittel- und Osteuropa.

OŚWIADCZENIE

Instytut Solidarności i Męstwa im. Witolda Pileckiego informuje, że Hanna Radziejowska została odwołana ze stanowiska kierowniczki Oddziału Instytutu Pileckiego w Berlinie z powodów obiektywnych. Podstawą odwołania jest art. 4b ust. 3 ustawy z dnia 9 listopada 2017 r. o Instytucie Solidarności i Męstwa imienia Witolda Pileckiego w związku z właściwymi postanowieniami Regulaminu Organizacyjnego Oddziału Instytutu Pileckiego w Berlinie.

Ostatnie działania Hanny Radziejowskiej poważnie podważyły zaufanie u pracodawcy. Przedstawiane przez nią w mediach społecznościowych oraz mediach tradycyjnych nadinterpretacje i insynuacje, co do realizowanych przez Instytut projektów, stanowią przekroczenie norm i relacji pracownik-pracodawca. W szczególności, gdy udostępnianie osobom trzecim wewnętrznej korespondencji, czy swoich obaw na temat działalności Instytutu następuje bez omówienia ich wcześniej wewnętrznie.

Oddział Instytutu Pileckiego w Berlinie pełni ważną funkcję w strukturze międzynarodowej Instytutu. Jego zadania obejmują prowadzenie badań naukowych, dokumentowanie skutków totalitaryzmów XX wieku oraz upamiętnianie ich ofiar. Zespół oddziału realizował w ostatnich latach szereg wartościowych działań, w tym współpracę z archiwistami ukraińskimi oraz promocję historii Polski w Niemczech.

Nowa osoba pełniąca obowiązki kierownika oddziału w Berlinie zostanie przedstawiona w przyszłym tygodniu, podczas spotkania z zespołem i w osobnym komunikacie dla mediów.

Oddział w Berlinie kontynuuje swoją działalność. Wszystkie rozpoczęte programy i projekty zgodne z misją Instytutu będą realizowane. Instytut Pileckiego dąży do wzmocnienia roli berlińskiej placówki jako elementu sieci międzynarodowej, wspierającej badania naukowe i upamiętnianie ofiar totalitaryzmów XX wieku, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem skutków niemieckiego nazizmu w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej.

STATEMENT

The Pilecki Institute announces that Hanna Radziejowska has been dismissed from her position as head of the Pilecki Institute's Berlin branch for objective reasons. The dismissal is based on Article 4b(3) of the Act of 9 November 2017 on the Witold Pilecki Institute of Solidarity and Valour, in conjunction with the relevant provisions of the Organisational Regulations of the Pilecki Institute Branch in Berlin.

Hanna Radziejowska's recent actions have seriously undermined her employer's trust. Her overinterpretations and insinuations in social media and traditional media regarding the projects carried out by the Institute constitute a violation of norms and employee-employer relations. In particular, when internal correspondence or concerns about the Institute's activities are disclosed to third parties without prior internal discussion.

The Pilecki Institute Branch in Berlin plays an important role in the Institute's international structure. Its tasks include conducting scientific research, documenting the effects of 20th-century totalitarianism and commemorating its victims. In recent years, the team in Berlin has carried out a number of valuable activities, including cooperation with Ukrainian archivists and the promotion of Polish history in Germany.

The new acting head of the Pilecki Institute Branch in Berlin will be presented next week during a meeting with the team and in a separate press release.

The Berlin team will continue its activities. All programmes and projects in line with the Institute's mission will be continued. The Pilecki Institute aims to strengthen the role of its Berlin office as part of an international network supporting research and commemorating the victims of 20th-century totalitarianism, with a particular focus on the effects of German Nazism in Central and Eastern Europe.
