Important information regarding our opening times in June and July

As most of you will have noticed, Pariser Platz and a large part of the Tiergarten are being extended and remodelled: And with good reason - this year, the biggest fan mile for the European Football Championship, which starts on 14 June, is once again being created here. The fan zone stretches from the Brandenburg Gate across the Straße des 17. Juni to the Große Querallee. One of the entrances to the fan mile will also be located to the side of the Brandenburg Gate on Pariser Platz.

This means that there will be extensive traffic restrictions and closures on Pariser Platz practically every day until mid-July. Nevertheless, we would be delighted if you would come and visit us during this time.

With prior notice and registration at events@pileckiinstitut.de, it will still be possible to view our permanent exhibition ‘Witold Pilecki. In Resistance to Hitler and Stalin’ from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 am and 2 pm.

Furthermore, the Institute will of course also remain open for our event visitors - i.e. today during our Solidarność event and at our next event on 17 July (‘Katarzyna Kobro: The Sculptor of Modernism’).
