3.) The Soviet Emblem - Instytut Pileckiego

Berlin contains numerous graves of fallen soldiers from various countries that were under Soviet Union rule. Some of these mass graves were transformed by the communist regime into spaces for power demonstrations and the glorification of its ideology. However, for the peoples enslaved by the regime, the Soviet emblem became a symbol of persecution and extermination based on their non-Russian political identity. In this area, a soldier standing on a pedestal, bearing the Soviet Union symbol, signifies the regime's claim over space. Similarly, the years of World War II (1941-1945) are displayed, hiding the collaboration and the secret protocol signed by Molotov and Ribbentrop.
